The Original Slut Strut & Shoe Class SEPT 16

The Original Slut, Strut & Shoe: Learn How to Move in Heels from a Professional

Many have tried to duplicate it—but there’s only one.

The Original Slut, Strut & Shoe is Violet Flame Studios’ signature heels workshop, created and taught by professional performer and instructor Nyla.

This isn’t simply about putting on a pair of heels and hoping confidence magically appears. Nyla will teach you the practical techniques behind standing, walking, dancing, and strutting in heels—with greater balance, control, grace, and poise.

Whether you wear a modest heel, a classic stiletto, or something a little more ambitious, you’ll learn how to work with your footwear instead of fighting for your life inside it.

Learn the Art—and Physics—of Walking in Heels

Walking beautifully in heels isn’t just about attitude. Your posture, weight placement, alignment, core control, and stride all affect how you look and feel.

During this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • How to stand confidently and comfortably in heels

  • How to walk and strut with better balance and control

  • How to transition from walking into simple dance movement

  • How posture and body alignment change when you wear heels

  • How to move with greater grace, poise, and sensual confidence

  • The basics of what Nyla calls “stripper physics”

  • Strengthening and conditioning exercises for your core, legs, feet, and ankles

And yes, you’ll finally discover what “stripper physics” means—and how professional performers balance their bodies on top of those stilt-like stilettos without looking like startled baby giraffes.

Valuable Foot and Ankle Care

Heels can make you feel fabulous, but they also place extra demands on your feet and ankles.

Nyla will share practical foot and ankle care, especially for women who regularly wear heels for dancing, performing, work, special occasions, or simply because flats do not adequately express their personality.

You’ll leave with exercises you can continue at home to develop stronger feet and ankles, better core stability, steadier balance, and more confidence in your heels.

Learn from Real Professional Experience

Nyla brings decades of professional experience in exotic dance, burlesque, belly dance, costuming, performance, and sensual movement.

She doesn’t just teach you a series of steps. She helps you understand how movement works, why balance changes in heels, and how to adjust your body so your walk looks intentional and feels more secure.

This workshop is playful, practical, and welcoming. You do not need professional dance experience or a naturally perfect strut. That is rather the point of coming to learn.

Bring your heels, your questions, and your willingness to practice.

We’ll help you build the rest.
